I was recently looking for a good sports store to shop from. When I found your store I was really  impressed. I was so impressed that I would love to be apart of it. When I walked up to the store I saw a help wanted scene so I would like to be considered.

 

I Am a football player and know about all of the positions so I could help in the football section to help direct people to the correct items that they would need. Recently I have started to hunt so I could help in the hunting department also. I also know allot about guns so I could also help in the weapons depot also.

Voting on Junior Jim Stack’s request to grow out his hair to 10 inches for locks of love, a organization that makes wigs for sick children who become bald. The school board will vote on this situation on monday.

“Had I approved Jim’s request, then I would have students every day asking if they could break the dress code. we have rules for a reason, and we just can’t go breaking them any time we want.” King said .

The reason why stacks wants to help locks of love is because of a problem they have with the wigs.

“We desperately need human hair for our wigs. Every month we receive about 200 requests from families who can not afford a wig for their sick child, and every month we have to turn down about 150 of those  requests.” locks of love president Gisel Roco said.

Trying to help the organization with their wigs Stack had a compromise to growing out his hair.

“I wont be hurting anyone when my hair gets longer. I even agreed to tuck it into my shirt so it won’t be that noticeable.” Stack said.

In support of Stack, the student council wrote a letter to the school board. It was signed by 350 students, 150 of those students were also willing to grow out their hair tho the organization. 78 of them were males.

“ I think it’s cool that Jim wants to do this… Rules were made to be broken, and this is a good reason to break one,” student council president, Gilbert castillo said.

I didn’t like it because the poor man lived  his whole life on that farm then he had to give it all up. I did like the story part of it because

it was interesting. The ending was alittle rough but other than that it was good.

The sea of trolls

What would you think if you were taken from your family? That is what happened to a Saxon farm boy named Jack. He was kidnapped by some Vikings. It wasn’t only Jack. Jack’s Little sister Lucy got taken also. This book ,The Sea of Trolls, is a good book by Nancy Farmer.

Jack and his sister ,Lucy, are kidnapped  and shipped across the sea to be sold as Thralls or slaves. Jack angers Firth the Queen of the land by accidentally casting a spell on her. Jack must go on a quest to save his sister. So he will go to the land of Dragons, Spiders, and Trolls. Will he make to or will he die trying to survive the horrible creatures.

My favorite part is when Jack had to try to survive spiders and that they have to try to kill the spiders.. It is really action packed. I liked it allot. If you like action this would be a good book for you it would be mostly for boys. I would recommend you to be 10 or above. Some girls would like this book also. There are magic wizards and Trolls.
