Hi, my name is Nathan. I was born in Virginia but I don’t remember where. I am a black, white, And Mexican 17 year old. I am going to be writing about my life, my best friend, where I wished I lived, and the adults I love.
I am going to first talk about my best friend Chandler. Chandler is my best friend because he is the only other dark skinned student in the 8th grade. He is also one of the funniest people I know. He is always telling jokes. One time when I went over to his house we had a good time.
If I had a chance to choose where I could live I would either pick Guam or Toledo, Ohio. I would pick Guam because I have lived there for over half of my life. I would also pick it because it is really nice there and the water is warm instead of freezing water like San Diego where I have lived for 3 years. It is sort of like Hawaii but it isn’t a place you would pick for a vacation. I would also pick Toledo, Ohio because I have a lot of family there. There is also a really big library and museum in the same area.
I have a lot of influential adults in my life but I would have to pick my mom to be the one that influences me the most. She has been gone for about half of my life being deployed in the Navy. even though she has been gone she has taught me many things that I will need to learn in my life. Like how to get a job or how to make money for my family later in my life.She has made the most money for my family . Even though she has retired she is still making all of the money in my family. She is now a stay at home mom trying to make up for the time she has lost with me but she has already missed the most part of my life, when I was growing up.
When I graduate I either plan on going to college for Engineering or i might just join the Navy. My dad recently graduated from LeTourneau University for Mechanical Engineering. Because of my dad i would like to do some sort of engineering program. I am also inspired to join the military due to my mother who,as I said before just retired.
